This is supposed to be book one of the bad boys for hire series and yet, they didn't even hire any bad boys. It was mentioned for a millisecond on one page but then the story went off on a completely different illogical trajectory. Also there is a super creepy childhood meeting involved that is just ICKY. And the ending is just laughably ridiculously insane. I wanted to love it and I actually did like the main lead, the female lead was irksome to the nth degree. I would not recommend this and doubt I will be continuing with the series. Though I am intrigued about book 2, but considering I far off from the blurb book 1 was, I have trepidation about attempting book 2.Product details

This was the novel that leaves you with your mouth hanging open as NO Way this is happening. MC of course, but really a different type of novel focus around the Romeo and Juliet saga. I truly enjoyed this book, especially the super ending.
I enjoyed this audiobook very much! The Romeo/Juliet type romance was sexy and at times funny. Most MC romances tend to be pretty dark, but this story was a bit different. The whole Bad Boys For Hire premise was fun and I enjoyed seeing the two main characters relationship develope. The narration was also well done. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this audiobook.
Wowza! I woke up way early and couldn't get back to sleep so I decided to give this a listen. Almost four hours passed by without me noticing. I listened, enthralled. The ups and downs, twists and turns had me feeling like I was on a roller coaster. The spicy parts kept me warm on this chilly Alaska morning. This was the first audio book of Rachelle Ayala's that I have listened to. At the end of it I laid there thinking about it versus a print, (or kindle), version. I came to the conclusion that I really enjoyed listening to this one. Normally I pick print. The narrator did a good job. He didn't put me to sleep even though I was laying in my bed. I would definitely listen to him again.
I couldn't put this book down until I had finished the entire thing, and it was full of surprises and not at all predictable. I have to admit, I've never been one for biker dudes, but Ryker is a keeper! Hardworking, honest, and with a sense of integrity that cannot be called into question. He is the type of guy every girl wishes they could meet. At first, I wasn't sure if I really liked Terri, considering she is brash and loud and a bit judgmental, but the more I got to know her, the more I appreciated her as much as I did Ryker. There are reasons she is the way she is, and that made her more interesting to read about. They are a great pair with white-hot chemistry! I've read the other books in the series and love them too!
Oh, boy! This book will make you grin from the opening sentences.
Seriously. Can you not grin at the thought of some guy answering a phone, "Bad Boys for Hire. Can I help you?"
From the opening sentence to the end of the book, this sexy romance is pure fun. I agree with the Book Description which called it "A modern day Romeo and Juliet story with a surprising twist."
All Terri wants is a date for her 30th birthday party, but before she can hire someone, she meets Ryker. I could not put this story away. So much action and romance it's like a buffet and you can't wait for the dessert! There are enough twists to keep you wondering and on the edge of your seat. Rachelle Ayala does not disappoint. I love her writing and her characters are strong whether they are men or women. I've already purchased the next book in this series.
Ryker and Terri go way back. They just don't necessarily rrecognise each other now that they're adults. As they discover who they really are their pasts of motorcycle clubs, family entanglements, personal conflicts and, in Tyler's case, Marine experience, all collide. Ryker is back home from his Marine career hoping to bring an end to the family feud that has cost lives, livelihoods and futures. The parallels this story has to Romeo and Juliet and West Side Story are clear. Yet this story has twists and turns that show a new and scary conclusion to the legendary tale. Bad Boys For Hire plays a periphery role in this book, but Ryker is certainly the epitome of a bad boy gone good. Ryker and Terri are a great couple and their love will clearly help them fight for right.
